Central Queensland Audiology has expertise in conducting noise surveys, noise management and hearing conservation programs (program designed to educate employees about hearing and hearing safety).
We have conducted an extensive number of noise surveys (sometimes referred to as noise audits) across a range of location in the Central Queensland region including Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay, Emerald, Blackwater and Rockhampton.
We have developed hearing conservation programs for a number of firms in the past including the following large-scale organisations:
- The Brisbane City Council
- Queensland's Electricity Commission
- BHP-Billiton
- Queensland Magnesium Corporation
We have also developed a program for a Brisbane based Occupational Health and Safety Training group that has implemented hearing conservation programs at mine sites in Indonesia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
